The Sochi Winter Olympics are inching closer every day, and we all want to see our favourite players make their national teams and perform well. What are the actual odds of that though?
Bovada released some speculative odds this morning:
Will Max Pacioretty make team USA’s 2013 Olympic hockey roster?

Will Alex Galchenyuk make team USA’s 2013 Olympic hockey roster?
Yes +150 (3/2)

Will P.K. Subban make team Canada’s 2013 Olympic hockey roster?

If I understand odds correctly, and it’s entirely possible that I don’t because I never place bets, Bovada believes that Subban and Pacioretty are very likely to make their national teams, and Galchenyuk is a bit of a longshot but still on the radar.
With the way Galchenyuk is playing, and his gradual improvement throughout his career, not to mention his performance at the World Championships last spring, I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see him make the team.
