While Alex Galchenyuk won’t be in attendance, 1st round picks Michael McCarron, Nathan Beaulieu, and Jarred Tinordi will attend the Montreal Canadiens‘ rookie camp from September 5th to September 9th. Full Habs training camp begins September 11th.
30 of the 40 attendees at the camp were also at the Habs’ summer development camp. The invitees include 12 defensemen, 8 left wings, 9 centers, 6 right wings, and 5 goaltenders. 18 of the players at camp are draft selections of the Canadiens, 3 are free agents, 4 were acquired via trade, 8 are on tryouts, and 7 are on AHL contracts.
