Report: The Canadiens have offered Radulov a four-year deal

According to John Lu, who is covering the Habs for TSN’s Free Agent Frenzy, the Montreal Canadien’s have submitted a contract offer to Alexander Radulov that is believed to be for four years.

Obviously this is two years shorter than Radulov is reportedly looking for, it is unclear if the contract cost would be higher due to the shorter term. There were no further updates on the other free agent, Andrei Markov, outside of the fact that he is holding steady at his ask of two years at six million dollars. The Canadiens have however, submitted their offer to the long time defenceman.

We’ll keep an eye on the situation as it develops.
