Peter Holland signed a two year, two-way contract by the Montreal Canadiens

The Montreal Canadiens have shored up their minor-league depth, first by signing Byron Froese, and soon after with a contract for Peter Holland.

Holland has played 243 NHL games, with the Anaheim Ducks, Toronto Maple Leafs, and most recently the Arizona Coyotes. He has 81 career points in that time.

He has been nearly a point-per-game player in a limited AHL career, and will give the Laval Rocket another centre option for their first season, while also serving as a call-up option for the NHL club.
