Canadiens vs. Panthers Game Thread, roster, lines, and how to watch

With a couple of fresh faces back in the lineup tonight, the Habs are after their third win in a row, a feat they haven’t accomplished since stringing together three wins at the beginning of February starting Super Bowl weekend.

Brendan Gallagher and Daniel Carr return to the lineup tonight. For Gallagher, it will be his first in twelve games since sustaining a lower body injury. For Carr, this is first game since January 25 when he sustained a knee injury that caused him to miss the next 29 games. Even though Carr has only played in 19 games this season, he has been a standout among those called up from St. John’s this year, so it’s exciting to have him back in the lineup.

The Panthers are chasing a franchise record for wins, currently at 43 which tied the record set in 1999-00. Roberto Luongo gets the start, as the Panthers are not messing around in securing their lead in the Atlantic Division, which right now is two points up on the Tampa Bay Lightning with as many games played.

The puck drops at 7:00 PM EST.
