Jacob de la Rose does the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Challenged by Swedish national team linemate Filip Forsberg, Jacob de la Rose upped the ante on the Ice Bucket Challenge. For the first time since P.K. Subban did his, someone did something crazy, with de la Rose taking a front-end loader’s bucket full of ice water while in a pond on a rubber dingy.

I don’t know about you, but that looked like it may have been a little shocking, that was a fair bit of water.

As of Sunday, ALS research has received $13.3M in donations in comparison to just $1.7M last year due to the awareness raised and the donations coinciding with the Ice Bucket Challenge. For once something that goes viral has made a very serious positive impact.
