Habsent Minded: Stanley Cup Final preview with Matthew S. Esteves of RawCharge

On the latest episode of Habsent Minded, Patrik and Jared are joined by Matthew Esteves from SB Nation sister site Raw Charge to discuss the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Stanley Cup final.

The Lightning are the first Tampa Bay pro franchise to advance to a Championship title defence the year following their win, potentially beating the Buccaneers by a few months as we would never bet against Tom Brady.

The Montreal Canadiens will face a stacked team built on the core of Andrei Vasilevskiy, Victor Hedman and Steven Stamkos with the tandem of Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point thrown in for good measure. We talk about the players that Tampa will rely on, and try to find a weakness that the Canadiens can exploit.

The Lightning won last year in front of an empty house in Edmonton, but their title defence this year comes with a chance to do so in front of their fans.

Of course we talk about the rise of a certain Russian defender, Mikhail Sergachev, and what he means for the Florida team.
