Habs news: Andrei Markov returns from injury, will play with Nesterov
The Canadiens received some positive news from their group of injured players.
Jeff Petry missed practice this morning, due to a touch of the flu. There’s no word whether or not he’ll be ready to play tonight versus the Sabres.

The good news is that Alex Galchenyuk once again skate this morning, which means he’s hopefully approaching a return relatively soon.
The Canadiens started out practice by focusing on the powerplay. Here are the units:

Andrei Markov WILL play tonight, and we’ve also received news that Greg Pateryn received the green light to return to play. He’s a possibility to play if Jeff Petry is unavailable.
Nikita Nesterov confirmed he would be playing alongside Markov for his first game as a member of the Canadiens.
