It was about as ugly as we all expected it to be, with almost no player on the Canadiens looking engaged for 90% of the first period, and P.K. Subban being the only player who seemed to recognize that Evgeni Malkin exists.
Carey Price was left out to dry, as usual, with Taylor Pyatt even elbowing him in the face after his goal, with Josh Gorges there just looking on with nothing to say. I guess Gorges was serious when he said Price could defend himself.
