After a difficult night in Minnesota, the Canadiens return home from what was still a winning road trip to face the Carolina Hurricanes.
The team had enjoyed a stretch of great performancees, but in their last two game, penalty issues have begun to creep into their game. They didn’t cost them versus the league’s worst power play on Sunday, but the Wild posted four goals on the man advantage in a 7-1 win that should have driven the message home that the team needs to play more disciplined.
We will see tonight versus one of the top possession clubs in the league if they have fixed things on that front. If not, it could be another tough night for the team in white.
