Canadiens vs Flames: Second Period Thread

Montreal started the period with some pep in their step, including some positive shifts for the 4th line. New comer Dale Weise looked decent, although he fumbled a couple good scoring chances. The real firecracker on that line was Ryan White, who didn’t miss a beat after an injury sidelined him for 14 games.

The second half of the period was a little more even, however Montreal continued to carry the pace. Although unfortunately not a lot of shots made their way to the net.

Prust almost gave Montreal the 1-0 lead, but he was stuffed up close. Montreal won the advanced stats battle, but the war is far from over.
