Pre-Game Thoughts:
- Habs Pride jerseys rule hard, and the different colour numbers and combinations is a nice little touch.
- Also getting to watch Lane Hutson and Luke Tuch take on Rhett Pitlick in the Frozen Four prior to puck drop was a welcome sight.
- With Easter right around the corner will we see the Habs’ effort levels also rise from the dead?
- Or will they lay another egg?
- Also it is once again Snack Time
First Period
- I know he just came back from a long-term illness, but Joel Armia looks like he’s playing in slow motion all the time.
- Also hoping and praying that Tom Wilson doesn’t do a Tom Wilson thing tonight.
- I refuse to believe guy with the last name Protas is a hockey player and not a Mass Effect villain.
- Well, that somehow felt inevitable.
- Every now and then Mike Matheson just decides to go for a rip through the offensive zone, gotta say it’s a welcome sight.
- Pezzetta having to fight Tom Wilson after clean hit makes me want to hurl rotting produce at my screen.
- And the Habs have a power play now, really a truly annoying sequence of events.
- Until the Habs forget how to count and take a too many men penalty on said power play.
- Ooooof Gurianov almost buries one off the odd-man rush, most life we’ve seen from him in a minute.
- Well, the Habs didn’t score but they have life so it’s progress on last game!
Second Period
- Nick Suzuki getting yeet’d into the boards on accident by Kuemper is not a thing any of us wanted to see!
- Well, I don’t know if I love that penalty call in the slightest!
