For the first time, there will be 31 teams making selections in the NHL Entry. The Vegas Golden Knights will add their first junior-aged prospects tonight.
After an eventful day of dealing on Wednesday, the Knights nead to Chicago with an armload of picks to add young talent to their organization.

In tonight’s first round alone the Golden Knights have three picks, and all in the top fifteen spots. While reportedly still negotiating with other teams to move some of their drafted players, that haul could get even more impressive before the night is over.
As for the Montreal Canadiens, the team holds a total of six picks for the seven rounds, with their own assigned first-round choice to be made tonight.
