A lot happened in 2015, and we’ve compiled some of the best stuff in no particular order.

Carey Price

Price’s mere existence would have been enough to land him on this list. However, he accomplished quite a lot in 2015.

He broke the Canadiens’ single season record for wins, had the best GAA in the league, won the Vezina, Hart and Jennings trophies, won the Lionel Conacher Award, was named the Canadian Press athlete of the year, the Molson Cup for 2015, and donated $10,000 dollars worth of hockey gear to a minor hockey league in BC. He was also great at the 2015 All-star Game.

Prospect Pool

The strength of the Montreal Canadiens’ prospect pool was especially evident in 2015. Artturi Lehkonen, Martin Reway and Jacob de la Rose all captained their World Juniors teams, and Zachary Fucale was the gold medal winning goalie for Team Canada. Reway would win bronze with team Slovakia and was instrumental in their success. De la Rose’s Sweden would come in fourth. Michael McCarron was a big part of the Oshawa Generals’ Memorial Cup win. This one isn’t off the ice, though it is off NHL ice, so we’re gonna count it anyway.

Haunted House

Brendan Gallagher and Nathan Beaulieu may be fearless on the ice. In a haunted house? Not so much. This video was so good that it made it to the real best ofs.
