2019 NHL Entry Draft: The Canadiens trade up to select Rafael Harvey-Pinard at 201st overall

Montreal added a pick from the Philadelphia Flyers to get a second seventh-rounder, 201st overall. The Canadiens then used that newly acquired pick on the captain of the Memorial Cup champion Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, Rafael Harvey-Pinard.

Harvey-Pinard put together an outstanding year as an over-age player in the QMJHL, and as captain of the Huskies compiled 85 points in 66 games, and 27 points in 20 playoff games. His rights are now owned by the Chicoutimi Saugeneens, but based on his age he is also eligible for the American Hockey League as well.

There will be more on this pick in the near future.
