I’ve already made it clear where I stand on the Mikhail Grabovski and Max Pacioretty biting incident. There’s no reason to rehash that here.
I don’t post this video because Milbury and Jones are blatantly wrong about something, but just to show the hypocrisy involved in sports commentary.
But yeah, I’m sure there’s not bias involved in any way in this little video. None at all. What an embarrassment.
As an aside, it was reported earlier today that Pacioretty received a tetanus shot after the game on Saturday as a precaution.
Update: Grabovski won’t be suspended for biting Pacioretty as the NHL deemed that it was inconclusive that he was bitten, even though the Canadiens claim Pacioretty’s skin was broken on his thumb and wrist.

NEW YORK — Following a telephone hearing conducted this morning, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety has decided not to assess Supplementary Discipline to Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mikhail Grabovski for an incident that occurred during NHL Game No. 160 Saturday night in Montreal.
After interviewing both players involved in the incident and reviewing all of the available video and medical reports, the League could not determine conclusively that Grabovski bit Montreal forward Max Pacioretty.
The Department of Player Safety has concluded that there was not sufficient evidence to support imposing Supplementary Discipline.
