It was a bit of a whirlwind year for Canadiens prospect Martin Reway. It was not without controversy, he played for two different teams in two different leagues, as well as representing Slovakia internationally. Through everything, he managed to put up over a point per game with both clubs, eventually earning his recent contract with the Habs.

In particular you want to pay attention to the sequences when he is on the power play. That is Reway’s bread and butter, and it is one area where he would definitely be able to assist the Canadiens should he make the team out of camp. It is no secret that they could definitely use help there, and his cross ice saucer pass is about as beauteous as they come.
Only time will tell if the young Slovakian can earn a spot with the Habs, but it is perfectly clear that he has the skill to make some noise when camp eventually gets underway.
