Habsent Minded Episode 3.63: A season-defining month?

Jared Book and Patrik Bexell got together to discuss things before the final week of the Montreal Canadiens regular season.

With just two games remaining, the Canadiens still have not clinched their spot in the NHL playoffs. One point or a loss from Calgary and Vancouver would be enough. While some people are anxious based on the lack of performance, a team missing six of their top players should be expected to struggle.

The good news is that the team as it is right now likely will not be the team that starts the playoffs, should they get there.

On the other side of things, the Laval Rocket have clinched their division but do not have a playoff to get ready for. It does show why the future of the organization looks brighter no matter what happens at the NHL level.
