Habs practice notes: Greg Pateryn replaces Nikita Nesterov
A slight shakeup on the blue line took place
As you’d expect for a team that’s struggling, there were no absentees this morning at the Canadiens’ practice. Claude Julien doesn’t have much time to put his system in place, and he clearly needs all hands on deck.
Practice started off with Carey Price destroying his stick following a McCarron goal.
#Habs: Carey Price n'est pas trop heureux ce matin. Il vient de détruire son bâton. Un but de McCarron était de trop.

It's worth noting that Price obliterating a stick is nothing new, he also vents during practices when the Habs are in the midst of a winning streak. Although the temptation is legitimate, we're best off if we avoid making a mountain out of that molehill.
The big news is Greg Pateryn will play versus the Rangers, which means that Nikita Nesterov will sit out.
#Habs: Greg Pateryn sera en uniforme contre les Rangers. Nikita Nesterov sautera son tour.

Both Sven Andrighetto and David Desharnais will yet again watch the game from the pressbox. Unfortunately the actual lines were not revealed, although chances are they're quite similar to what we saw yesterday.
