Habs lines at practice, October 17th, 2016
Here’s the latest edition of the Montreal Canadiens practice lines
The Canadiens hit the ice this morning following their shootout loss to the Senators Saturday night. Michel Therrien leaned heavily on his blend button, and we saw different line combinations only five periods into the season.
Fortunately, things seemed to have returned to normal.

Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Gallagher
Lehkonen-Plekanec-Radulov
Carr-Desharnais-Shaw
Danault-Mitchell-Byron
The first line is intact, and Artturi Lehkonen has reunited with Tomas Plekanec and Alex Radulov on the second line. The bottom six saw no changes either.
As for the defensive side of things:

Beaulieu-Weber
Markov-Petry
Emelin-Sergachev
Redmond et Pateryn sont les défenseurs en trop.
Rookie Mikhail Sergachev is practicing on the third pairing alongside Alexei Emelin. Zach Redmond and Greg Pateryn were the extra defenders.
In other news, Carey Price hit the ice before the main team practice this morning, which can only be seen as encouraging news for Habs fans around the world. Price hasn’t started a regular season game for the Canadiens in a little under a year. His last outing was on November 25th, 2015.
