- Check out today’s NHL 30-in-30 team: Detroit Red Wings. The Red Wings are coming off an injury plagued season that saw them still make the playoffs for a 23rd consecutive year. Will they be heading there for a 24th with their aging legends and new blood? (Don’t forget to gear up for tomorrow as the Habs are the NHL’s 30-in-30 team!)
- The NHL Draft Lottery has changed its rules ahead of the 2015 Connor McDavid sweepstakes. Yes, the Buffalo Sabres are now crying!
- The Kevin Hayes sweepstakes are now over, he has signed a contract with the New York Rangers. The 6′ 2″, 201lb forward was drafted in the first round, 24th Overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2010 and has played the last four seasons with Boston College and was a Hobey Baker Award Finalist this past season.
- The 10-year court battle of Steve Moore and Todd Bertuzzi looks to be coming to an end. As an attorney myself I know that lawsuits can take several years, but TEN, that is pushing it, at least in the United States legal system. Canada may be a different story.
- The Ottawa Senators have announced that they have signed Clarke MacArthur to a five-year extension for $23.25M. The 29-year old forward scored 24 goals and added 31 assists for 55 points in 79 games last season for the Senators.
- Steve Dangle Glynn’s new video is up, and it features Steve vs Steve, in an epic battle of the blogosphere vs mainstream media.
