Carey Price isn’t expected back until after the All-Star Game

There haven’t been many updates on Carey Price’s injury situation, but on Friday afternoon Michel Therrien advised not to expect the goaltender back any time soon.

The All-Star weekend will take place on January 30th and 31st, which means that at the very least the Habs will be without Price for another eight games. On November 30th the Canadiens announced that Price would miss “at least six weeks”.

In other news, Mike Condon is expected to get the start versus the Penguins on Saturday night. The Habs will be without the services of Jeff Petry during that game, as he nurses a lingering injury. Greg Pateryn will be inserted into the lineup in his place.

Pateryn practiced alongside Nathan Beaulieu, whereas Andrei Markov and P.K. Subban were reunited on the top pairing.
