The Canadiens came out strong after playing a muted third period last night, once again taking the play to the Senators to the tune of a 14-8 shot advantage. The Canadiens were unable to solve Craig Anderson, however, as the teams headed to the intermission with a 0-0 tie on the scoreboard.

Last night, the Canadiens demolished the Senators in the second period, outshooting them 27-7 and scoring two goals to take the lead. The Canadiens will look for similar success in the second period tonight.
