Canadiens vs Flames: Third Period Thread

Montreal got into some penalty trouble, thanks to the idiotic hand-pass penalty on the face-off rule. However Carey Price and the D stood tall during 2:00 of 5 on 3, and managed to keep the Habs in the game. Credit where credit is due, Douglas Murray looked great during the crucial sequence, as did Josh Gorges. Therrien inexplicably left them out for the entire kill, but it worked.

Rene Bourque got the world’s biggest monkey off his back, and gave the Habs a 1-0 lead. Eller snapped his pointless drought on the play as well.

On a completely unrelated note, Raphael Diaz scored in his debut for the Canucks, because of course he did.
