Puck. Luck. Carey Price didn't do his team any favours, but it's pretty clear tonight that the Leafs have 6 tons of horse shoes somewhere in their nether regions.

Part of it is certainly score effects, but the Canadiens completely outplayed the Leafs from a possession perspective in the period, +13 Fenwick and +16 Corsi.

Is this rivalry finally picking up? I remarked on the podcast that there's no player on the Leafs that I despise, Nazem Kadri is working pretty hard to change that. His leaping head shot on Brendan Gallagher would get a suspension in any league worth it's salt, let's see what Shanahan does. (nothing)
