Three IceCaps assigned to the Brampton Beast

On Sunday morning the Montreal Canadiens announced that forwards Angelo Miceli and Tim Bozon, as well as defenceman Dalton Thrower, were re-assigned from the St. John’s IceCaps of the AHL to the Brampton Beast of the ECHL.

With the return of forwards Jacob De La Rose (C/LW) and Markus Eisenschmid (C) from injury, Miceli (C/LW) and Bozon (LW) will continue their developement in the ECHL where they can count on regular ice time with the Beast.

As for Thrower, he has struggled to get ice time with a healthy IceCaps blue line, finding himself eighth on the depth chart, having only suited up for five games this season. He has bounced between the two teams all season, playing games for the Beast, and then re-joining the IceCaps for practices, so we should expect to see him back shortly.

The IceCaps play this afternoon in Toronto against the Marlies.

The Beast play this afternoon in Brampton against the Royals.
