Torrey Mitchell has been placed on the Injured Reserve after an awkward fall in the game versus the Arizona Coyotes.

Sven Andrighetto has been recalled by the Montreal Canadiens from the St. John’s IceCaps to fill the roster spot Mitchell’s absence creates.

Andrighetto scored two goals for the IceCaps on Friday night, including the game-winner in overtime. He played 12 games in a call-up last season, scoring two goals and one assist.
Andrighetto is waiver exempt, and can be sent back down to the AHL once his stint completes.
