Not much happened in the frame, as the teams exchanged some low quality scoring chances. Matt Hackett looks sharp, although Montreal will need to improve their scoring chances if they hope to beat the AHLer. Carey Price was forced to make a few nice saves, although he definitely wasn’t overly busy.

Montreal carried the play, however considering they’re playing one of the worst teams in modern NHL history, that’s just not good enough.

Believe it or not, ex-Hab Matt D’Agostini is leading the charge for the Sabres, as he currently has four of their eleven shots. Montreal’s 10 shots on the other hand is evenly spread out among 10 players.

Jarred Tinordi has looked fine in his return to play, but let’s hope he doesn’t make a single mistake, or else he’ll quickly find himself as a healthy scratch.
