QUIZ: Habs draft picks who’ve played for Team Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championship

The annual World Junior Championship is underway in Helsinki, Finland. This tournament is an avenue for scouting prospects in comparison to the best international players of junior age, allowing for the measurement of the health of an organization’s future.

This year’s edition of the tournament unfortunately does not feature any Montreal Canadiens prospects after Noah Juulsen and Lukas Vejdemo were cut from the Canadian and Swedish national teams, respectively, before the start of the tournament.

Historically, however, Montreal has had a steady representation in the tournament, including numerous gold-medal winners for Team Canada. The majority of them became pivotal members of the Canadiens soon afterward (and a few even won a Stanley Cup).

This quiz will test your memory, dating back all the way to the 1984 NHL Entry Draft for players who played on the 1985 edition of Team Canada in the World Junior Championship. How many do you think you can name?
