For a lot of fans of the Montreal Canadiens, the news of yesterday’s blockbuster trade still hasn’t really set in. P.K. Subban was one of the most beloved Habs of the last 30 years, and also the most involved in the community.
Even if you weren’t a fan of the Canadiens, if you were in Montreal, you knew who he was and what he meant to the city. His exploits on the ice brought a generation of Habs fans some of our top memories, and could not be discounted.
Here’s a video remembering the great things Subban brought to the Canadiens and to the city. He may not be bringing anymore of these memories, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t enjoy everything that he gave us.
