Canadiens vs. Blackhawks Game thread, rosters, lines, and how to watch

The Montreal Canadiens have played their two best games of the season in the past two outings and look to keep up the momentum against the Chicago Blackhawks tonight on Hometown Hockey.

In those two games, the Habs have outshot and outplayed their opponent. While the ‘Hawks are still a very talented group, they are no longer as formidable as they used to be and have looked more human this year. That is not to say they are not a good team, and with Corey Crawford playing as well as he is, they are capable of beating anyone.

On the other hand, Andrew Shaw is making his return to the organization that drafted him, and where he won two Stanley Cups. Phillip Danault also makes his return to Chicago after being traded for two pending unrestricted free agents ahead of last year’s trade deadline. Al Montoya, a Chicago native, is returning to the net for the first time since he allowed all 10 goals in a 10-0 drubbing at the hands of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
