Montreal Canadiens vs Calgary Flames: Game Thread

It’s a tale of two cities, as Calgary comes into this match up red-hot, whereas the Habs are limping.

The Flames are riding a five game winning streak, including wins over San Jose, Chicago and Minnesota. They’ve managed to score 4 or more goals in their last 4 games, and they’ll look to put Montreal’s shaky defence to the test.

Unfortunately for the Flames, they’ll be without their starter, and former Habs prospect Karri Ramo, as he’s nursing a knee injury.

Carey Price gets the start for the Canadiens – who can ill afford to drop any more points in the standings. They managed to obliterate the 9 point lead they held over the wild card spot a month ago.

Dale Weise will make his Habs debut on the fourth line.

Puck drop is at 7:30 PM at the Bell Centre.
