Habsent Minded Episode 2.15: The Canadiens Youth Movement

Jared Book is joined by Patrik Bexell and the pair start this episode by discussing the Montreal Canadiens prospects in Europe starting with Mattias Norlinder and Alexander Romanov and their development.

This episode was recorded before the game on Saturday night against the Ottawa Senators, so we can’t talk about the exploits of Nick Suzuki, but the trio of Suzuki, Ryan Poehling, and Cale Fleury are quickly making themselves a part of the Canadiens’ present-day plans.

With their performance this pre-season, it forces everyone to get better and the internal competition is high. It can also send a message to other young players that if you perform, a spot will be made available for you.

Finally, don’t forget about the EOTP Watch Party for the season opener on October 3 at Microbrasserie 4 Origines. You can RSVP for a chance to win prizes here. Admission is free and there will be food made available before the game.

The podcast should be available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and Spotify if you subscribe to it there.
