Montreal Canadiens lines at practice: Brett Kulak skates with Shea Weber

Following a disastrous performance against the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday, Montreal Canadiens interim head coach Dominique Ducharme hinted that there would be changes.

On Sunday, that’s what we got as the Canadiens look to regroup from three straight regulation losses.

The big change was on defence. Joel Edmundson and Jeff Petry were reunited, with Brett Kulak skating with Shea Weber. Alexander Romanov and Otto Leskinen remained the third pair.

Up front, Paul Byron was on the line with Phillip Danault and Tomas Tatar. Nick Suzuki skated with Tyler Toffoli and Jake Evans.

Of note, Joel Armia rejoined the team for full practice for the first time since his addition to the NHL’s Unavailable due to COVID-19 list. He did not skate on a regular line, however, as he is working his way back into game shape. He had not skated in 20 days since being added to the list. He rotated with Tomas Tatar on the line with Phillip Danault and Paul Byron.
