Ice Level with Andrew Berkshire

UPDATE: Listen to the podcast!

Tonight on Ice Level, Conor Mckenna, James David, and I will open up with the show with the most pressing issue of the day: The NHL is expanding to Las Vegas, CONFIRMED! Wait… no, the NHL is denying it. No wait it’s confirmed again now! Wait maybe not, what’s happening? Is it a good idea? Can it work?

After that, it’s back to the summer staple of talking hockey analytics, as we welcome Corey Sznajder of Shutdown Line and the All Three Zones tracking project, where he’s working on tracking neutral zone tendencies for NHL teams. We’ll ask Corey what teams are more impressive, and if he’s noticed anything we wouldn’t normally see.

Finally we’ll be talking to Arpon Basu, managing editor of LNH.com, the French version of NHL.com, and Canadiens‘ reporter. With Arpon’s insight, we’ll debate which current Habs center is most likely to end up on the wing, and who he thinks should end up on the wing.
