Hudon Named Captain of the Chicoutimi Sagueneens

As reported by La Presse, Charles Hudon has been named the captain of the Chicoutimi Sagueneens. Hudon has been leading the Sagueneens in scoring all year in spite of missing a few games to injury, and his inspired play has gotten him an invitation to Canada’s selection camp for the World Junior Championships as an 18 year old.

Hudon seems to be the kind of player everyone will be calling the steal of the 2012 NHL draft in a few years time, and it’s even better that he’s a home grown product.

Hudon has 17 goals and 18 assists in just 25 games for the Sagueneens, not bad for a 5th round draft pick in my book.
