Jared Book, Patrik Bexell, and Scott Matla get together to look back at the 2019 NHL Draft, and the events that led to the Montreal Canadiens drafting Cole Caufield. They also look at the Canadiens’ strategy in later rounds and there’s a special message from Canadiens third-round pick Mattias Norlinder.
Then they turn their attention to development camp, the first time to see the 2019 draft class on the ice (or most of them), and what they are looking for from the participants which includes Nick Suzuki for the first time. Suzuki was acquired after last year’s development and rookie camps.
