Habsent Minded Episode 9: Paul Byron and the pre-season of fun

This episode begins as Jared Book and Scott Matla take a look at Paul Byron’s contract extension that was signed on Sunday, and just what he brings to the Montreal Canadiens.

Byron’s story of waiver claim to back-to-back extensions is one of the better stories on the team right now.

Then Jared is joined by Patrik Bexell as we discuss the Canadiens’ prospects in Europe, notably Jacob Olofsson’s nasty collision, Alexander Romanov and Jesse Ylönen.

Scott returns for the final segment where we talk about Max Domi’s actions and suspension and how he should act going forward, and we discuss the pre-season to date and talk about just how fun it has been so far and how it bodes well for both the Canadiens and the Rocket, at least from an entertainment perspective.

Note that the episode was recorded before Monday’s game against the Maple Leafs.
