Habsent Minded Episode 28: There’s something about Carey

Jared Book, Scott Matla, and Namiko Hitotsubashi discuss Les Canadiennes returning to the Clarkson Cup final for the fourth time in five years and doing so without their star and captain Marie-Philip Poulin.

Then they turn to Carey Price winning his record-setting 315th game to become the goaltender with the most wins in Canadiens history. The trio reminisce about Price’s career and bumps in the road as well as where this generation of Canadiens stars fits.

They also discuss whether Price’s number should be retired if he doesn’t win the Stanley Cup.

This episode was recorded before the game against the Islanders, but it doesn’t make any difference in the content of the episode.
