Habsent Minded Episode 21: World Junior surprises, AHL discoveries, and other adventures

The Montreal Canadiens had seven prospects at the World Juniors, and four of them walked away with a medal. Not only that, but Ryan Poehling put in a MVP performance and Alexander Romanov was named the tournament’s top defender.

What does this mean going forward? How good are these prospects? Jared Book, Scott Matla and Patrik Bexell take a closer look.

They also talk about the Canadiens recent games, and how they are continuing to perform well. How should Marc Bergevin approach the trade deadline?

The Laval Rocket found another goaltender in Connor LaCouvee, who is now the backup in Laval.

And Tie Domi had an interesting adventure on his way to supporting Les Canadiennes and watching their game. We talk about Marie-Philip Poulin as well.
