Habsent Minded Episode 18: The Domi/Drouin Dynamic and World Juniors fever

It was another busy week for the Montreal Canadiens, as they waived, and subsequently lost Nikita Scherbak to the Los Angeles Kings to start the week, and ended it with a pair of blowout wins against the Senators.

With Jared Book day-to-day with an illness, Patrik Bexell and Scott Matla held down the fort as they break down the roster moves by the Canadiens this week, including their feelings on losing a first round pick, and the waiving of Xavier Ouellet.

The duo then digs into what has made the pairing on Jonathan Drouin and Max Domi work so well this year for Montreal, while also touching on their outstanding performances this week against Ottawa. Was Max Domi’s “waivers” taunt a well aimed taunt at Zack Smith, or was it crossing an unwritten line in hockey?

Finally we’ll also be doing a small preview for the Canadiens prospects heading to their respective World Juniors camps, including a small interview with Jacob Olofsson’s head coach on what he expects of the Habs prospect.
