Habs Rookie Camp Day 2 and other links

Etienne Brodeur, Nathan Beaulieu, Gabriel Dumont and Dustin Walsh had goals for Team Red, in their 4-0 scrimmage against Team White, Tuesday in Brossard.

As for the big boys, HIO noted that Andrei Markov, P.K. Subban, Brian Gionta, Mathieu Darche, Erik Cole, Lars Eller took to the ice before today’s sessions.

It was also a day for Hamilton Bulldogs coach Clement Jodoin to meet the Montreal media. Jodoin responded to Louis Leblanc‘s determination to start his season with him as coach. “He’s a very good competitor, very intense and he comes to play,” Jodoin said of the Habs prospect. “I’m liking what I’m seeing from him, but it’s just been one day.”

Jodoin named Michael Bournival and Brendan Gallagher amongst those who impressed him on Monday, noting that it’s best to take time with a young prospect rather than rush him through.
