Habs practice notes: Charlie Lindgren to start versus Florida, Weber injured

Even though Al Montoya was on the ice this morning, Charlie Lindgren is likely to be the starter against the Panthers.

Shea Weber will not play, sitting out with a lower-body injury.

The forward lineup only saw one change, with Steve Ott replacing Michael McCarron on the fourth line.

As for the defensive side of the coin, with Weber’s absence there was a shuffle among the pairings.

Jeff Petry was placed on the first pair, whereas Nathan Beaulieu and Alexei Emelin were promoted to the second pair. Brandon Davidson and Nikita Nesterov compose the third pairing.

Update: Shea Weber’s injury will keep him out of action for the next two games, as he has returned to Montreal to meet the team’s doctors.
