The Canadiens may be down yet another centre for tonight’s game.

It was later confirmed that he missed practice with the flu.

There was no mention of whether or not he would be in the lineup tonight.
If Plekanec isn’t able to suit up tonight, it looks like Brian Flynn will get his spot on the second line, which is not an ideal solution, but at this point the Canadiens are thin down the middle, so there’s not much they can do. Flynn is still a solid defensive option, and one of the more dependable face-off takers on the roster.
Finally, it looks like Al Montoya will get the start this evening, leaving Carey Price to take on the Minnesota Wild tomorrow.
