That start was weird. Because it looked okay for a bit, and then Evgeni Malkin took control of the game.

You know what, though, you guys, more than halfway into the game, the Habs were leading in the fancy stats. Then it all took a massive dip before it finally somewhat stabilized by the end of the game, which makes the defensive gong show breakdowns even more infuriating.
Poor Pricey. Let’s all take a moment and imagine the look of childlike wonder he will have on his face the first time he plays in Sochi. Think about it. Carey Price has never not needed to bail his team out, except briefly last season. So excited to see what’s going to happen behind a competent defense.
The score in Pittsburgh was 5-1, and Marc-Andre Fleury was not the goaltender that got pulled.

The officials trying to restrain them were hilarious.
I’ll have more on the anger stuff tomorrow, but this team is so broken, and it’s so unnecessary, and now the Leafs are tied with the Habs in the standings and eventually the games in hand will be played and when all of the games are over the Habs might find themselves on the outside looking in and this sucks you guys.
Hey, at least the game wasn’t boring.
And at least maybe now things will start to be more obvious to Michel Therrien defenders.
