Canadiens vs. Maple Leafs: Game thread, rosters, lines, and how to watch

Before the final game of the regular season for both the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs, a moment of silence will be held for the 15 members of the SJHL’s Humboldt Broncos team who died in a crash last night.

The gesture will precede each of the 15 games on the NHL schedule today, as staff members, players, and fans around the league pay respects to the aspiring young men who will never have the chance to stand on the ice in the national spotlight.

Players and coaches on both the Leafs and Habs have been sharing their feelings on Friday night’s tragic events, with the hockey to come tonight far from the most pressing concern on their minds.

The marquee event on the national stage tonight, it’s an opportunity to bring a country together and to share the stories of those who were lost.

Puck drop is at 7:00 PM EDT / 4:00 PM PDT
