Canadiens vs. Canucks Game thread, roster, lines and how to watch
The Habs seek their eighth win in a row.
The Habs will look to remain undefeated in regulation tonight when they welcome the Vancouver Canucks to the Bell Centre, the team who last year put an end to the Canadiens’ 9-0-0 start by handing them their first loss of the season.
The Habs will be looking to avoid a similar fate tonight, with Carey Price starting his sixth game of the season. Price has been perfect so far, posting a 5-0 record, 1.40 goals-against average, .954 save percentage (but 0 shutouts!.. come on Carey!). You have to go back to October 29, 2015 for Price’s last loss.
The Canucks started the season strong, winning their first four games, but have since been on a slide of five losses in a row (0-4-1). The Canucks are the lowest scoring team in the league with just 16 goals in 9 games, which bodes well for the Canadiens who have allowed the least goals in the NHL with just 13 goals allowed in 9 games.
Puck drop is 7:30 PM EDT / 4:30 PM PDT
