Montreal Canadiens General Manager Marc Bergevin announced the signing of forward Jeremiah Addison to a three-year entry level contract.

Addison saw an extended stay with the Canadiens at training camp this year. He was only one of two junior-eligible players who stayed after rookie camp to join the main camp without an entry-level contract (Giovanne Fiore was the other), but did not see any pre-season action.

He played this season with the Windsor Spitfires, the same team where highly-touted prospect Mikhail Sergachev plays and will be headed to the Memorial Cup at the end of the playoffs.
This season he produced 24 goals and added 19 assists in 51 games.
Addison was a seventh-round pick for the Canadiens in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, selected 207th overall. He is the third pick from the 2015 draft class of five to sign a deal, after first-rounder Noah Juulsen and sixth-round selection Simon Bourque.
The last seventh-round pick to sign an entry-level contract was Sergei Kostitsyn, a 2005 pick.
Addison placed outside of our T25U25 in this year’s ranking.
UPDATE: The financial details of Addison’s contract are now known:
