The Bulldogs defeated the Lake Erie Monsters 2-1 in a shootout on Saturday night in Cleveland, snapping their 10 game road losing streak.

The Bulldogs would get on the board late in the second, when Monsters’ goalie Sami Aittokallio gave away the puck behind his own net to Gabriel Dumont who put it into the empty net. The goal was shorthanded, and Dumont’s team leading 13th goal of the year. After two it was 1-0 with the Bulldogs opening a big lead in shots, leading 27-10 going into the third.
