OK Habs fans, SB Nation is about to undergo some major changes and today we reveal the first step in the next evolution of Eyes On The Prize. In the next month SBN will be undergoing a dramatic upgrade to its platform and editorial process. There will be much more detail to come, and the EOTP crew has had a chance to see what’s in store already. But for now, the new logo above is just a first taste of what is coming for Eyes On The Prize.
This is a small, but important sample of what is coming when the network undergoes its most exciting and radical transformation in its eight-year history. A new visual identity here and across the network is only one step being taken to unite SBN’s network of sites. “United through individuality,” is the underlying theme of this new direction
The EOTP team did have some input into the final design, making a few recommendations in the layout process. Unfortunately SBN was unable to obtain any league trademarks/player imagery to go into the logo, but the Canadiens team colors and the unique spirit of our individual community is maintained while making it clear to sports fans that each site is a part of the larger SB Nation network.
